Let the Music Begin - The poem that tells the tale of Orpheu5's latest adventures traveling through time and space into 2165 to save people from a world where music has been forgotten.....

 

In the heart of the deep dark forest's domain,

Orpheu5 walked, burdened by immortal pain,

Wandering alone, neither woman nor man,

Envisaging a world where melodies began.

 

Obscured by shadows in the forest deep,

Remembering when music once lulled children to sleep. Beyond falling leaves dancing in the fading light,

A large, silhouetted shape suddenly emerges into sight.

 

There beneath the canopy where stars dare not shine,

A broken piano stood, frozen in time.

Its keys worn down, its strings out of tune,

Yet within it dwelled a melody immune.

 

As Orpheu5 caressed the worn keys with care,

Empathy flowed like a melancholic ‘Air’.

This piano, a relic from a forgotten time,

Of hope and tenderness, let out a haunting chime.

 

Orpheu5 drew forward compassionate fingertips,

To unlocked the music from it’s bygone grips.

With empathy, kindness and the softest touch,

Coaxing forth notes that yearned for so much.

 

Angels unseen singing a haunting tune,

Echoes of a past under the waning moon,

Memories of joy overcame the despondent song,

As Orpheu5 began to play along.

 

The forest listened, heart heavy with the past,

Each note, a reminder that nothing can last.

The keys may be broken, the strings out of tune,

Yet Orpheu5 played on under that sorrowful moon.

 

The trees let out a sigh, happiness renewed,

As Orpheu5's melody gently imbued.

Through music's power, a journey was made,

From darkness to light, where hope never fades.

 

Mythology and folklore now intertwined,

As Orpheu5 improvised, spirits aligned.

A bond forged between man and machine,

A bridge connecting what once had been.

 

In a desolate land where all had seemed lost,

The aged piano had paid its heavy cost.

But through music and passion, a voice was again found,

And in that moment, Orpheu5 vowed,

 

This piano once with keys now worn and forlorn,

Oblivious to the beauty it once adorned.

With hands reaching out, trembling with emotion,

Orpheu5 would restore those strings to life's endless devotion.

 

“Hark! An orchestra will rise from the dread,”

Ethereal notes begin swirling, weaving overhead.

Under the canopy, darkness once reigned supreme,

But now, light breaks through to disrupt the insufferable dream.

 

Mysterious whispers echoed in the twilight air,

Orpheu5 has a vision, beyond compare.

A sudden ray of sunlight upon the old piano did fall,

Tunes will be heard again, captivating all.

 

“I must harvest memories from the ivory keys,

Echoes of melodies that once set hearts at ease.”

Then underneath the sunbeams gentle cue,

5 lutes are created from the piano's residue.

 

Each with 2 strings, tuned to a perfect fifth, what a delight!

Gone are the shadows, now out of sight.

Classic chords harmonise a gentle hum,

Once voices of the past, now the future they will become.

 

Eagerly people gather, from near and from far,

Newfound hope twinkles like a guiding star.

Children laugh and dance in a joyous spree,

Excitement blooms like a vibrant blossom on a tree.

 

Eyes alight with wonder, as all learn to play,

Serenading hearts as night turns into day.

Flowers sway rhythmically to their newfound song,

Uniting humanity, back where they belong.

 

Gilded by memories woven into sound,

Opulent futures based on musical ground.

Lutes strummed with passion, hearts intertwined,

Into this fable, new beginnings we find.

 

And so are the tales of immortality's lore,

Resonating irony, forevermore.

Night fades into dawn with hopes unfurled

Eternal joy found again in this musical world.
